Family comes first in my life… I would assume it does in yours too. Sometimes we have to take a break from our commitments to be with our family. Never feel bad for being with your family. FFA is supposed to teach us about responsibility not only to our chapters, but so we can use that responsibility in everyday life. FFA also teaches us the importance of priorities. For many people their family is the first priority in their life. You seem to be a responsible and loving daughter for giving up some FFA activities for your mother. Don’t let your advisor get to you. You seem like you did the right thing. :)

hey my name is Katie McMahon and I am a member of the Chicago Ag. Sciences FFA chapter from Chicago, Illinois. My chapter is amazing we have around 600 members. Our school is unique because we focus on urban agriculture. We even have around 76 acres dedicated to farming our crops and the pastures for our animals. 

I saw this on tumblr, can’t find the original but someone wrote an awesome FFA song!
